ENRESS 750 PLASTIC DISPOSAL
Energy potential of output products of thermal depolymerization of waste plastics.
The ENRESS 750 device is designed for processing 700 kg / hour. waste plastics with a pool of 8,000 operating hours per year.
With the average material balance shown, the production of the individual fractions obtained is as follows:
A) liquid recyclate (oil)….......................63 wt. %
B) process gas.................….......…..............34 wt. %
C) carbon residue ....................................3 wt. %)
If the input amount of the waste is ...700 kg / hour. the production of new materials is as follows:
A) liquid recyclate (oil) ......................453 kg / hour. (approx. 500 l / hour
B) process gas .....................................245 kg / hour. (approx. 235 m³ / hour)
C) carbon residue ................. approx. 22 kg / hour
A) The use of the liquid recyclate - process oil
The calorific value of liquid recyclate reaches 39.31 MJ / kg. With a production of 453 kg / h, the hourly energy potential is more than 17.8 GJ, i.e. almost 5 MWh.
With the available efficiency of 40% of the rotating machines for the production of electricity, we can produce 2 MWh.
The liquid recyclate (oil) can be used as a sales item, e.g. as a liquid thermochemical recyclate for further processing in the chemical industry, or as a fuel for some types of diesel cogeneration units.
B) Use of the process gas
The calorific value of the process gas reaches 31.8 MJ / m3 and thus enables the energy potential of production of 1,952 kW / hour.
With gas production 235 m³ / hour, the hourly energy potential is almost 7.3 GJ., i.e. more than 2 MWh. With the current efficiency of machines for the production of electricity, 0.8 MWh can be actually produced from the process gas.
The operating consumption of the technology is 380 kWh.
The by-product of electricity production can be also heat. However, the amount of heat available depends on the type of rotary machine used.
C) The use of the carbon residue is possible apply in various industries.
We supply the ENRESS 750 device in a modular container solution measuring L x W x H - 24.4 x 4.9 x 5.4 meters and a total weight of approx. 24 tons.
The prerequisite for thermochemical recycling is crushed plastic waste. For the purpose of crushing, we also supply crushing equipment in cooperation with partners.
